Energiekonzepte Deutschland
With the EKD Sales App, Energiekonzepte Deutschland's sales team took projects from lead to signed deal: appointment, consultation, site survey, quote. The app ran on phone and tablet, offline too, and synced its data with the CRM. Lipsia Digital built it and integrated it into the system landscape.

02Starting point & goal
Energiekonzepte Deutschland sells and installs energy systems for households, with its own sales team. Until then it used a white-label app: bought-in software under its own logo. It was barely connected to the company's systems, licence costs kept rising, and it could map the sales structure only in part.
03Sales
In the app, projects moved through set phases, from a new lead through appointment, consultation and site survey to quote and signing. The app synced leads and results with the CRM. We developed the CRM further at the same time and added our own modules, so app and integration came from one team.

The start view showed the appointments of the day and the days after, overdue ones first. Whatever was done was ticked off.

The quote took the customer through the offer item by item, from the system to warranty and extras. The customer signed right on the device.

04Site survey
The site survey had nine steps, from consumption data and property through roof, obstacles and scaffolding to storage, meter and connections. A checklist for AC and DC, the alternating and direct current side of the system, and the signing step finished it. The app marked open steps, so nothing was missed on site.

Meters and storage were often surveyed in the basement, where there was no signal. The app kept working there and synced the data once it was back online.

Delivery of the system
Before signing, the closing step recorded who was responsible for the grid connection. The project then went to the installation app with a complete survey, where the build was run.
